If that energy hits a hard cabinet edge, a smaller version of<br \/>\nthis energy is reflected back towards the driver causing a time shifted, low level signal that can<br \/>\ncorrupt the sound of the driver leading to distortion. By rounding the cabinet edge, this energy<br \/>\ngently dissipates more naturally, and does not colour the signal being produced by the driver.<br \/>\n<strong>QUIET CABINET FOR INCREASED RESOLUTION<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Jamo Studio speakers\u2019 cabinet walls are thicker (15 mm MDF with 18 mm Front baffle)<br \/>\nand critically braced to ensure a low degree of \u00ab self-noise \u00bb. This allows you to hear more<br \/>\nlow-level detail and increases resolution when playing at any output level compared to<br \/>\ncompeting products in their class. In short, you get to hear more of what you want and less of<br \/>\nwhat you don\u2019t.<br \/>\n<strong>HIGH QUALITY CROSSOVER<\/strong><br \/>\nThe crossover is housed in its own sealed plinth to minimise the possibility of any interaction<br \/>\nbetween the large bass driver magnet and the inductors in the crossover. Special attention was<br \/>\npaid to the topology and component selection.
